Responsible for high-quality specimen handling, distribution, and collection to ensure timely and accurate laboratory results. Performs waived to moderate complexity testing and maintains general laboratory operations and quality assurance.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science (no experience), an Associate's degree with 1-2 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 5-7 years of experience. Must be willing to provide immunization records and adhere to vaccination requirements.
Specimen handling and distribution Use of Information Systems Specimen collection (phlebotomy and SWCL) in accordance with CMH policies and procedures as applicable. Customer service to internal and external customers in accordance with CMH shared values and service excellence programs Performance of waived to moderate complexity testing and reporting; and/or specimen processing and preparation under appropriate supervision, following in-depth training and competency assessment procedures (as assigned). Maintains general operations of the laboratory performs quality assurance activities

The pay range for this job begins at $23.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
