The Nurse Practitioner provides specialized care for clinical electrophysiology patients, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiac rhythm disorders. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating all aspects of the workup and care for patients referred to the electrophysiology service.
Candidates must hold a Master of Nursing degree from an accredited program and possess a current CA RN, Nurse Practitioner, and DEA license. At least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Electrophysiology is required, along with ACLS and national certification.

Under the supervision of a Cardiac Electrophysiologist and within the Nurse Practitioner's competence, the Nurse Practitioner provides specialized services to clinical electrophysiology patients. This includes managing and treating cardiac rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and other complex arrhythmias. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the planning and coordination of all aspects of the workup and care of patients referred to the electrophysiology service.
