You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.
Must have exp. working with client with Asperger's syndrome, stroke patient and an Amputee, who is very active. Assist client to all medical appointments 2-3 times a week (will be compensated for travel), medication reminder **Insulin before meals**. The client like to go to the YMCA weekly for activities for 1 1/2 hours, and like walking his dog regularly. General companionship and community engagement support.
The preferred schedule is Monday through Thursday (11 am to 3 pm) Must have your own car and insurance.
Must have experience working with clients with Asperger's syndrome, stroke patients, and amputees. Candidates must possess their own vehicle and insurance.
