The Medical Assistant supports the Radiation Oncology team by performing patient screenings, monitoring conditions, and managing medication and allergy information. They also handle administrative duties including scheduling, registration, and the maintenance of medical supplies and examination areas.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Medical Assisting program or have equivalent military medical training, along with BLS certification. A clinical externship or extensive clinical experience is required, while a Medical Assisting Certification is preferred.
