Job description

Job Details ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a BC/BE Endocrinologist to join our established program in Smyrna, Delaware.
Join our team of exceptional providers working in a practice recognized through the Delaware Diabetes Coalition and the American Diabetes Association.
The ideal candidate is an endocrinologist who enjoys mostly outpatient but has a desire to round at our main hospital 4 to 5 times a year.
Position Highlights: Work with exceptional providers and robust staff in our multidisciplinary clinical team consisting of nine physicians, four nurse practitioners, and six certified diabetes educators Variety - Provide outpatient care at our Smyrna, DE clinic.
Then 4 to 5 times a year, round at our main hospitals in Newark/Wilmington, DE.
Light call: 1:8.
Inpatient staggered weekends and 2 week rounding blocks for inpatient care.
Experienced team/support means lower call burden.

Compensation & Benefits Package Including: Competitive base salary plus quality incentive bonus incentive Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program Health, dental and vision benefits 403b, 457b, and Defined Contribution Retirement Plans Fully paid malpractice insurance 12 weeks paid protected parental leave Annual Compensation Range $233,853.00 - $338,270.00 The above compensation range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting for full-time hours in the respective specialty.
The actual compensation within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation the fair market value for physician services in the relevant specialty and the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, credentials, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
The compensation range listed may encompass various forms of applicable compensation for this position, including, but not limited to, productivity incentives, value-based incentives and other ancillary forms of compensation dependent upon operational factors such as hours worked, call coverage and other factors.
ChristianaCare will offer compensation at an appropriate point within the above range or, less frequently, may offer a level of compensation outside the listed range as warranted by the circumstances.
