The nurse will provide care for various patient populations across multiple critical care units, including Medical, Surgical, Neuro, Cardiac, and Cardiovascular ICUs. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, delegating tasks, and coordinating care plans with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidates must have at least one year of applicable experience and a Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the AHA or Red Cross.
Saint Luke's is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool! Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights The Critical Care Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working at three to four facilities across the metro. The Tier 2 float pool nurse will care for a variety of patient populations and float to the following units: Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU. Opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
