We are currently seeking Full-Time/PRN Mental Health Techs (MHT) and/or CNAs with experience in psychiatric care to join our esteemed team.
Freedom Behavioral Monroe/West Monroe facility is an 82-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing specialized mental and behavioral health services for the geriatric population. The hospital delivers a comprehensive range of care, including both inpatient and outpatient treatment options, designed to support the unique needs of older adults.
As a valued member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients. In this position you would obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Contribute to the physical, psychological, emotional, and well-being of each person served.
Assist with ADL’s, meals, assisting with patient hygiene, room cleanliness and other patient care activities as assigned.
Monitor therapy groups under the direct supervision of Licensed/Certified professionals.
Contribute to patient records by collecting and documenting data relative to patient.
Perform a variety of clinical and patient care duties under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Perform routine patient care and related duties, including laundering of patients clothing and cleaning of equipment.
Promotes and practices patient safety, infection control and proper body mechanics.
