About the role

Provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments, and person-centered treatment plans for adults and youth. Deliver stabilization and treatment services to clients dealing with mental health and substance use disorders.

At Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and and medication assisted treatment team to provide support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Mental Health Qualified Profession on the team, is to provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments, develop with the client treatment goal and person centered plans, treatment, after-care, and referral services to adults/children in need of outpatient treatment. To provide stabilization and treatment services to mental health and substance abusing clients.

Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary

  • $18.00 - $24.00 / Hour

What We’re Looking For • Education

  • A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.
  • Full or provisional
  • Substance
  • Use licensure or certification: LCASA, CADC or AP/CPSS
  • Dual licensure preferred
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
