About the role

Provide direct patient care and therapeutic support for older adults with primary psychiatric diagnoses in a 20-bed mixed geriatric/psychiatric unit. Collaborate with clinical teams to advance healing and reduce suffering within the psychiatric emergency department.

UC Health is hiring a PRN Psych Tech-Psychiatric Therapeutic Program Worker (TPW) for the 6 Ridgeway Psychiatry for the varies shift at UC Medical Center.

This is a 20 bed, mixed Geriatric/Psychiatric co-ed unit which focuses on the treatment of older adults, many of whom are 55 and older, with primary psychiatric diagnoses.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED and six months of direct patient care experience in a psychiatric setting. STNA certification or college-level coursework in nursing, psychology, or social work is preferred.
