The Dental Hygienist provides preventive dental services to patients in clinic and community settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include maintaining electronic records, managing referrals, and meeting service provision benchmarks.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited dental hygiene school and hold a valid Colorado Dental Hygienist License. Experience as an RDH and fluency in Spanish are preferred but not required.
Tepeyac understands that treatment of the whole person includes medical, behavioral health and dental care. All three are needed to achieve the utmost quality care and coordination for patients. Dental decay is the number one chronic disease in children that is 100% preventable —5 times more common than asthma, 4 times more common than early childhood obesity, and 20 times more common than diabetes. Decay can affect speech and communication, eating and dietary nutrition, sleeping, learning, playing and quality of life, missed school and/or work for patients of all ages. The Dental Hygienist works with a team of dentists and dental assistants to provide quality dental care to Tepeyac’s patients.
Tepeyac offers a full compensation package to all full-time employees. Licensed providers receive time off and reimbursement for CME and reimbursement for the Colorado licensing renewal fee.
The hourly rate range for the BILINGUAL DENTAL HYGIENIST is $44.75-$49.52, depending on experience. *$5,000 sign-on Bonus*
