The Medical Assistant performs a blend of clerical duties, such as scheduling and EMR updates, and clinical tasks, including taking vitals and preparing patients for exams. They support providers by facilitating patient flow and assisting during medical examinations.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Medical Assistant certification from recognized bodies like AAMA, AMT, or NHA. BLS certification is also required, while no prior experience is necessary.

Medical Assistant Certification other than those listed requires THMG Leadership Approval.
