RESPONSIBLE FOR: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Depending on the education held above, one of the following is required: RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BCLS and ACLS Business
