Perform routine and emergency diagnostic cardiology procedures including EKG, stress tests, and Holter applications for adult patients. Process necessary paperwork and assist in maintaining cardiology department procedures.
Overview Unlicensed Electrocardiogram Technician who assists the physicians in performing routine and emergency diagnostic cardiology procedures on adult patients to include electrocardiograms, rhythm strips, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, stress portion of stress echocardiograms, Holter application and signal average ECG.
The technician processes paperwork for each procedure, assists in establishing new procedures and maintaining current procedures for the Cardiology Department.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center.

Education/Training/Experience Completion of formal training program in cardiovascular training or 1 year experience in performing specific cardiac testing preferred. Completion of basic arrhythmia class. Licenses/Certifications Current BLS-HCP required.
Requires completion of a basic arrhythmia class and a current BLS-HCP certification. Formal cardiovascular training or one year of cardiac testing experience is preferred.
