The Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist optimizes medication therapy through direct patient care, clinical recommendations, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. They also manage operational pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing, sterile compounding, and the supervision of pharmacy technicians.
A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required, with a PharmD and ASHP-accredited residency strongly preferred. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Michigan and possess recent inpatient pharmacy experience.
