How you’ll make an impact in this role This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated NP/PA to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and well-respected Cardiology team of 25 physicians and 18 APP's Call structure: 1:4 Practice setting: Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities Full-service Cardiology practice Vascular focused position High quality service in one convenient location Excellent office support staff Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration About the Facility 387 bed hospital Level II trauma Regional referral center Excellent Cardiology and Cardio Thoracic Surgery Program 24/7 Intensivist service Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. Registered Nurse preferred.
Masters Degree of Nursing required.
