Market context
Emergency Veterinary Technician and Assistant roles in North Carolina are often driven by 24/7 hospital coverage needs and steady demand for experienced support staff. These positions are competitive because employers typically look for hands-on veterinary experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in fast-paced settings; RVT status can help, but it is not always required. If you are considering applying, review the lifting and emotional demands closely, and note that the requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description to save research time.
