The Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in managing patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. They also participate in patient education and provide technical support for respiratory care equipment.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and hold a Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Michigan, as well as a National Board for Respiratory Care Registry. Basic Life Support certification is also required.
