Perform preliminary patient work-ups, including specialized ophthalmic testing and history documentation in electronic medical records. Assist physicians during examinations and manage patient communications regarding follow-up care and scheduling.
Requires a high school diploma and certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Scribe, or the willingness to obtain OSC certification within 30 days. Preferred candidates have six months of outpatient medical office experience and basic computer proficiency.
