The Respiratory Care Assistant will work only under direct supervision of a licensed RCP. Under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director of Respiratory Care and overall supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manager. The Respiratory Care Assistant performs routine therapy, and diagnostic procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a non-exempt position.
Education and Training: Must be a Senior RT Student from an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and have a provisional license in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
Minimum of one year completion of Respiratory curriculum in an accredited program.
