The LPN administers patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse within the Cardiac Telemetry Unit. They collaborate with the nursing team to implement care activities and provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Candidates must hold a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and a current BLS certification. A diploma program completion is required, though no prior job-related work experience is necessary.

Cardiac Telemetry Unit Shift: 7PM-7:30AM/ 36 hours per week/ 72 hours per pay period Facility: Upper Valley Medical Center General Summary/Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.
