The Mental Health Counselor provides direct resident care in an inpatient eating disorder program, maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu. Responsibilities include monitoring behaviors, facilitating group therapy sessions, and documenting daily resident progress.
A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with current CPR certification. Candidates must possess knowledge of psychiatric group processes, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
