Responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge of patients receiving high-quality hand therapy services. This includes developing treatment plans, supervising assistants, and maintaining positive relations with facilities and clients.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school with required national registration and state licensure. Candidates need CPR certification and a valid driver's license, with a preference for CHT certification or specific hand therapy experience.
Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy. National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start. Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
