The Doctor Assistant supports physicians by rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, and documenting information in electronic medical records. Additional duties include providing patient education, handling prior authorizations, and scheduling surgical appointments.
Candidates should have the ability to use computer programs, work independently, and communicate effectively with patients. Previous experience in a medical office or with electronic medical records is preferred but not required.
