The Cat Scan Technician is responsible for performing imaging procedures, administering contrast media, and monitoring patient conditions. They must also ensure equipment safety, analyze imaging results for quality, and report scan findings.
Candidates must hold a two-year certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree and be registered with the ARRT in Radiology and Computed Tomography. A current state Radiation Operator Certificate and BLS certification are required.
