As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide essential support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them navigate daily life in residential and community settings. Compensation

Starting at $20.20/hour, with earning potential up to $24.20/hour through shift differentials and overtime opportunities.

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours weekly) with flexibility to work two weekend days as part of your schedule. What You’ll Do Provide direct support to individuals living in group homes, apartments, and supported living settings Assist with day-to-day needs such as meal preparation, medication assistance, personal care, and maintaining a household environment Encourage independence through community outings, recreational involvement, and individualized goal support Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment while completing electronic documentation accurately and on time Partner with supervisors and team members to support individual goals and maintain program standards Paid training provided — experience is welcome but not required Paid training provided—no prior experience required Why You’ll Love Working Here At The Arc of Ocean County, you’ll find more than employment—you’ll find a workplace that values your contributions and invests in your growth.
