The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing needs, planning, and implementing medical and nursing regimens. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality, age-appropriate care consistent with organizational policies.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least one year of hospital medical-surgical nursing experience. A BSN is preferred, and RN and BLS credentials are required.

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care that is guide by the ANA scope of practice. The Registered Nurse collaborates with patients, family/significant others, peers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses the patient’s needs, plans care, implements, and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards. He or she demonstrates leadership skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth. SUMMARY:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals and policies and procedures.
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.
