Perform patient assessments and assign diagnoses based on recorded data and current research. Establish and implement plans of care in accordance with protocols and provide education and counseling to patients and families.
A Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies is required, along with a current Illinois license and certification. A minimum of two years of experience in primary care or a related field is preferred.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
