The Staff Pad is proud to be partnering with a respected hospital in Helena, MT and we are looking for a Polysomnographic Technician – Sleep Lab who is passionate about healthcare, enjoys working independently overnight, and wants to grow their skills in sleep medicine and respiratory support.

As a Polysomnographic Technician, you’ll work alongside physicians and clinical specialists to deliver high-quality sleep diagnostics and overnight care for patients experiencing sleep-related disorders.

Help Patients Sleep Better — and Live Healthier Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift | Three 12-hour shifts per week |0.9 FTE Enjoy a consistent schedule with fewer workdays and more flexibility for work-life balance.

What You’ll Do Under the supervision of a licensed physician, you will: Conduct overnight polysomnographic (sleep) studies with precision and attention to detail Monitor and collect high-quality, artifact-free diagnostic data Analyze sleep study results to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Adjust and manage respiratory support devices for patients with suspected sleep-related breathing disorders Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout overnight testing Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure exceptional outcomes Perform EEGs in conjunction with sleep studies when needed What We’re Looking For Education & Experience 1–3 years of sleep lab and/or respiratory therapy or a related field clinical experience preferred Training or experience in sleep laboratory technology, respiratory therapy, or a related healthcare discipline Certifications CPR certification required ACLS preferred RPSGT credential required, or candidates must be actively enrolled in or have successfully completed one of the following approved pathways: A-STEP Online Self-Study Modules CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology program Electro neurodiagnostic (END) Program Respiratory Therapy add-on track for Sleep Technology Why Join Our Team?

Requirements

Requires an RPSGT credential or enrollment in an approved sleep technology pathway, along with CPR certification. Preferred experience includes 1-3 years in a sleep lab or respiratory therapy field.
