Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22

Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).

Responsibilities include: Provide professional emergency medical services and direct patient care in the ER Evaluate adult and adolescent patients presenting to the emergency department Make preliminary diagnoses, prescribe treatments, and arrange for referrals or specialized care Deliver care to patients with a broad range of medical conditions, often critical or complex

Requirements

1) Physicians must have completed an Emergency Medicine residency. 2) Physicians must have an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Arizona or one of the other 49 states in the USA, or the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. 3) Current certification is required in BLS (Basic Life Support). 4) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). 5) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). 6) Must have one or the other Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians.
