The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, while also documenting these actions according to clinical guidelines. Additionally, the aide provides routine patient care and reports any changes to licensed nurses.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Nursing Aide and Medication Aide in the State of Georgia. Proficiency in computer skills and effective communication are also required.
