Job Summary and Responsibilities The Emergency Department at Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital (Glendale) is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our medical campus and hospital features the most innovative uses of materials to promote patient safety, satisfaction and medical efficiency. As an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery during critical, time-sensitive situations at St. Joseph's Westgate. You will be the frontline provider, facing a dynamic and unpredictable environment where every moment counts in stabilizing and managing a diverse range of acute medical conditions and traumas. Every day, you will leverage your specialized expertise to provide rapid, individualized, comprehensive care, making swift and critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing urgent patient care plans for patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and support staff, contributing to a high-pressure, yet highly rewarding, environment focused on immediate stabilization and optimal patient outcomes. Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in ED AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. Requirements

Requires a nursing degree (Associate, Bachelor, or Master) and a valid Arizona RN license. Must hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with a preference for two years of emergency room experience.
