The Medical Assistant manages clinic flow by preparing patients for visits and recording vital signs. They also assist providers during physical examinations and perform routine diagnostic screening tests.
A High School Diploma is required, while an Associate Degree in Medical Office Assistant is preferred. Candidates must hold an AHA BLS Health Care Provider certification and possess strong communication skills.
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Medical Assistant provides assistance to the patients and providers to manage the flow of the clinic.
