The Staff RN delivers nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit by executing medical and nursing treatment plans. Responsibilities include assessing patient status, communicating with medical staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, a Registered Nurse license, and ACLS certification. Candidates must have at least one year of telemetry experience and proficiency in EKG interpretation.
The Staff RN uses the nursing process to deliver nursing care to a given patient care population as it relates to the care setting. Nursing care is based on the interpretation and execution of the medical and nursing plan of treatment utilizing established procedures standards and protocols of individuals within the assigned work shift. The Staff RN provides nursing care to the population served in the unit. #LI-LP1
