The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of radiographic procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. This role involves adhering to National Patient Safety Goals based on the level of patient contact required.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and must obtain ARRT-R certification or be on track to receive it within 12 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is also required within 90 days of starting.
