Intern Pre Licensed Therapist

• Clarvida is seeking candidates for non-paid internship and practicum opportunities for first and second master's level students.
• Clarvida provides a unique unpaid internship opportunity to work within our Specialty Mental Health Program.
• As an intern, you will gain valuable experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to the lives of children, adolescents currently diagnosed with behavioral health conditions.
• These internships provide direct learning opportunities in the areas of psychotherapy, behavioral health and case management, with the provision of individual therapy, early intervention and psychoeducation services within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• The internship program provides students with the chance to earn academic credit while gaining practical experience, particularly those pursuing master’s degrees in social work or psychology.
• As our Therapist Intern, under direct supervision, you will conduct the initial behavioral health assessment and engage the client in development of a treatment plan noting their strengths, challenges, and support systems.
• You will meet with the client regularly, providing individual, family, and/or group counseling. and regularly assess their strengths and mental health treatment needs.
• Part time 15-20 hours a week.
