Provide high-competency critical care to ill or injured patients through continuous monitoring and critical interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex medical, surgical, and cardiothoracic cases.
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide highly competent, compassionate critical care to critically ill or injured patients. You will work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team of physicians, pulmonologists, and allied health professionals to manage complex medical/surgical conditions, continuous life support, and cardiothoracic cases. Key Responsibilities
Patient Monitoring: Continuously observe and track vital signs, hemodynamic status, and neurological responses.
Critical Interventions: Administer high-risk medications, manage ventilators and cardiac monitors, and assist physicians with invasive, bedside procedures.
Care Planning: Develop and execute individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
Advocacy & Communication: Act as a patient advocate while providing empathetic support and clear updates to family members.
