The Registered Nurse is responsible for completing comprehensive nursing assessments for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in specific waiver programs. They also manage delegations and monitor nursing services under the direction of the Community Support Director.
The Registered Nurse performs duties within the RN legal scope of practice. RN will be responsible for completing Comprehensive Nursing Assessment for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) enrolled in the Texas Home Living (TxHmL) and Home and Community Based (HCS) Waiver Programs. RN will complete delegations and monitor nursing services as needed. The RN reports to the Community Support Director.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Texas with at least one year of experience or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. A valid driver's license and SPMP licensure for Medicaid activities are also required.
