About the Role

• The Licensed Counselor will provide professional mental health services to individuals, families, and groups, aiming to improve their emotional and psychological well-being.
• This role involves conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• The counselor will work collaboratively with clients to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Additionally, the counselor will maintain accurate documentation and comply with all ethical and legal standards governing counseling practices.
• Ultimately, the goal is to empower clients to achieve greater self-awareness, resilience, and overall life satisfaction through compassionate and effective counseling.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience providing counseling services to diverse populations.
• Strong knowledge of ethical standards and legal requirements in mental health counseling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with specific populations such as children, veterans, or individuals with substance use disorders.
• Bilingual abilities or experience working in multicultural settings.
