The Research Patient Coordinator manages clinical trial workflows, schedules participant visits, and ensures protocol compliance. They perform clinical procedures such as blood collection and ECGs while maintaining accurate study documentation and data entry.
An associate degree is required, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with prior healthcare or clinical research experience. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to perform clinical tasks independently and collaboratively.
At Monroe Biomedical Research, our Research Patient Coordinators or CRC play a critical role in the successful execution of clinical trials and the advancement of innovative medical treatments. This position combines patient interaction, clinical procedures, data management, and study coordination in a fast-paced research environment. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working directly with patients, collaborating with clinical teams, and contributing to high-quality research operations.
Clinical Trial Coordination Coordinate and schedule participant visits for active clinical studies Maintain study workflows and source documentation in accordance with sponsor protocols and regulatory requirements Support overall study execution to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
Patient Care & Study Procedures Build positive relationships with study participants and provide ongoing support throughout study participation Perform study-related procedures including: Vital signs ECGs Blood collection/phlebotomy Pulmonary function testing Assist in ensuring participant safety, comfort, and protocol compliance
Data & Documentation Review medical records and maintain accurate clinical documentation Enter and manage study data within sponsor systems Prepare, process, and ship laboratory specimens according to protocol requirements Assist with regulatory and sponsor documentation as needed
Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Prior healthcare experience strongly preferred Experience in clinical research, patient care, medical assisting, or nursing preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Professional communication skills and strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team environment
