Veterinary Assistant Neurology

• VCA Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Kalamazoo is a 24/7/365 emergency, critical care and specialty practice, located in Portage, MI and we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Neurology team.

• Neurology Veterinary Assistant Duties: Collecting patient histories & physical exams Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority) Safe handling and restraint of neurologic, mobility-impaired, painful, or seizure patients Supporting advanced imaging procedures including MRI, radiographs, and other neurologic diagnostic imaging procedures Surgical preparation and support for neurosurgical procedures Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services Providing compassionate nursing care and patient comfort measures Compensation: $18 - $31 / hour is based on experience and skill set Schedule: Full Time, Monday thru Thursday (Please take a moment to view our short video on technician life at VCA from a technician's point of view) https://vimeo.com/684755121/10c909cbf5 What Makes VCA Kalamazoo Unique?
