What You Can Expect to Do As a Primary Care Veterinary Technician, you’ll deliver exceptional nursing care by administering medications, treatments, and ensuring patient comfort. You’ll assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and dental procedures, as well as collect and process lab samples and monitor anesthesia for patient safety. This role also involves educating pet owners on preventative care, maintaining accurate medical records, and keeping treatment areas stocked, clean, and compliant with safety standards. You’ll help manage supplies and medications while handling all materials responsibly—playing a vital role in the care and wellbeing of every patient. Who You Are Our ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills. Additional qualifications include: Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a veterinary hospital as an assistant or technician. Preferred Skills: Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance (not required but a plus). Proficiency in dental cleanings. Calm under pressure with strong organizational abilities.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians preferred, but we welcome experienced candidates eager to grow and learn.
