The Sleep Lab Technician is responsible for performing ordered sleep studies and maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality. They must operate specialized equipment, communicate with physicians, and ensure the lab area remains clean and stocked.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a stressful environment. Certification as a Polysomnographic Technician or Technologist is preferred but not required.

The Sleep Tech performs independently and with self-initiative under indirect supervision. They are required to perform a variety of duties within their realm of knowledge/training and at a technical level maintaining a high standard of patient care and confidentiality.
