The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Responsibilities include assisting physicians in procedure rooms and providing comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN School of Nursing with an active RN license in Texas. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in GI, Orthopedic, Pain. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
