The Mammography Technician assists with assessing, planning, implementing, and performing mammography under the direction of a Radiologist. They maintain the operational aspects of the Mammography Department in collaboration with department supervisors.
Full Time (80 hours/pay period)
This is a float position; standard hours are Mon - Fri 7: 30a-4:00p, there may be times coverage will last until 7:30p
Under the direction of a Radiologist, assists with assessing, planning, implementing, and performing mammography. Maintains the operational aspects of the Mammography Department in collaboration with the department supervisors. Further contributes to other health care providers through the support of WellSpan Health System's Mission, Vision and Values.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of Radiographer experience. They are required to have Basic Life Support certification and must obtain Registered Technologist-Mammography certification within 1.5 years.
