The Midwife/WHNP will be responsible for triaging, evaluating, and managing a range of obstetric cases. This includes conducting initial evaluations and collaborating with OB/GYN physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia and have graduated from an accredited Nurse Midwifery or WHNP program. Certification as a Midwife, WHNP, or Acute Care Certified APP is required, along with strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
Work in tandem with OB/GYN teams to coordinate care for antepartum patients and collaborate on patient management.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia Graduation from an accredited Nurse Midwifery or WHNP program. Must be a certified Midwife, WHNP, or Acute Care Certified APP (Advanced Practice Provider). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology, including labor and delivery triage and management. Previous experience preferred, but new graduates with L&D experience are welcome to apply. Work Schedule: Shifts: 3-12 hour shifts per week, open to 24-hour shifts. Nights and Weekend Coverage OB ED is located in the Labor & Delivery unit, with one provider on shift at a time.
