Requires a high school diploma with 3 years experience, an associate degree with 2 years, or a bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience working with target populations. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications.

This is a non-licensed para-professional position that provides mobile behavioral health crisis support within the area of responsibility of the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT). Responder is assigned an on-call schedule when they must be available 24/7. The mobile crisis responder provides immediate, on-site behavioral health crisis intervention and stabilization services for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and emotional distress crises in the community. This role involves responding to emergency calls, de-escalating crisis situations, assessing needs and providing referrals to appropriate services. The responder works in collaboration with licensed therapists, other MCRT team members, first responders and other community service providers to ensure individuals receive the necessary care and support. Employee must reside in the county where Mobile Crisis Response Team services are provided.
