The role involves carrying out occupational therapy treatment plans to help patients regain independence in daily living. Responsibilities include instructing patients on adaptive equipment and collaborating with nursing and therapy staff.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree from an accredited OTA program and a current state license. Previous experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation is preferred.
Carry out OT treatment plans. Instruct patients in adaptive equipment and self-care. Document services and report progress to OT. Collaborate with therapy and nursing staff. Qualifications Associate’s Degree from accredited OTA program. Current state license. Experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs Knowledge of OT activities. Ability to follow OT instructions. Strong communication skills. Physical & Environmental Requirements Lifting, standing, walking, bending. Healthcare and LTC facility environment.
