The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. This role is essential for ensuring that the operating room is prepared and that all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with computer skills. Preferred qualifications include CRCST or CSPDT certification, six months of experience, and familiarity with sterilization processes and operating room instrumentation.
