Provide direct care and maintain a safe therapeutic milieu for patients in a partial hospitalization program. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating with families and referral sources.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or Social Work, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a mental health setting and be comfortable working with children and adolescents.
2 years experience working in Mental Health setting Masters Degree preferred Bachelors in Psychology/Human Services, Counseling, Social Work required Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/ aggressive behavior. General hospital environment. Must be willing to work with children, and adolescents Experience working with Groups Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, classroom management, and positive reinforcement Highly Developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment. Proficiency with common computer based applications such as electronic mail, word processing and various databases
