Licensed Practical Nurse/ PDN Nurse

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Practical/ Vocational program Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Professional Nurse in home health care setting Knowledge of State and Federal regulations Proficient oral and written communication skills Considerable knowledge of the care and treatment of patients and special procedures that apply to practical nursing Ability to use sensory and cognitive functions to process and prioritize information, treatment, and follow-up Ability to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively Ability to work with a variety of groups; multidisciplinary teams, managers, and staff Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/ or equipment over 50 pounds Duties and Responsibilities shall include but limited to the following: Adhering to the LPN scope of practice as set forth by the State Board of Nursing Preserving the dignity and self-respect of patients Practicing patient privacy and confidentiality Performing specific treatments as ordered by the MD while under RN supervision Administering prescribed medication within the state scope of practice Collaborating with other health care providers and provide education to patients and/ or significant others Documenting and reporting care received, changes, observations and other data related to the clinical condition of the patient to the RN Performing other duties as requested Next Steps Once you apply for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position with Supreme Touch you will receive an email of acknowledgement.
